We Salute Our Military

Banneker Industries proudly recognizes and honors the proud men and women of our Armed Forces. We appreciate and value the leadership experience and unique skills active, reserve and veteran service members bring to Banneker. We have a dedicated military program whose sole focus is to help veterans transition into the civilian workforce and build their careers at Banneker, and we are actively recruiting for even more veterans to join our company. Banneker is also a proud member of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and a 2011 recipient of the ESGR Freedom Award. Awarded annually, it is the highest in a series of employer recognition awards given by the Department of Defense and is given to employers who provide exceptional support to their National Guard and Reserve employees.

Committed to recruiting the best and brightest talent, Banneker utilizes its selective Internship Program to employ college students and introduce them to the world of Supply Chain Management, while allowing them to develop the skills necessary to succeed as leaders both personally and professionally. The strength of Banneker’s Internship Program stems from focused mentoring, professional development and challenging projects. At the conclusion of the internship, candidates may be offered an opportunity to apply for Banneker’s Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) – a comprehensive rotational program established to give Associates the tools and experiences they need to prepare them for a leadership role within the Company. When hired, each Associate is also paired with a workplace mentor whose responsibility it is to provide guidance through the process of transitioning into the workforce and growing into leaders.
